HARD SKILLS:
-I am extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. This includes: Microsoft Word (strong writing
abilities) Excel (efficient and accurate accounting), and Power Point (knowledgable in graphic design and visual presentation).
-I am an intermediate level Spanish speaker. After studying the Spanish language, writing, reading, and culture in
Spain for six months, I feel confident in my ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally in Spanish. Being bilingual
is not only a great skill to have, but it will help me in no mater what career path I choose.
-My researching
skills are extremely strong. My internship has given me the opportunity to learn effective research methods and enhance my
analytical skills. I have aquired great experience in human inquiry, web researching, and interviewing people.
SOFT SKILLS:
-I am confident in my ability to work well with others in any possible setting. This
means that I can be a succesful leader who always gets the job done. I know how to delegate responsibility, earn
respect, and give respect to my co-workers in return. However, this also means that I can be a great team player. I
like to create a positive work environment where everyone gets along and everyone does their fair share of the workload. Getting
along well with others comes easily to me because I know how important team-work is.
-I am a powerful communicator.
I am also extremely outgoing and personable. From studying theatre and communication, I know the importance of social skills
and human interaction. I am not afraid to speak in public (in fact, I love to!) I enjoy talking to others and communicating
and sharing different ideas. I am open-minded and flexible when it comes to expressing different opinions and making suggestions.
Speaking to other people, on behalf of other people, with other people, or in front of other people, is one of my greatest
strengths.
-I am a perfectionist. What I mean when I say this is, I always strive for the best and I never settle for
anything less. No matter how small or how big the task is, I will give one-hundred percent of myself to the job. Once I start
something, there is no turning back. Everything I put my mind to, I complete to my fullest capability. I am committed
to putting forth my best work and best attitude to everything that I do in my professional, academic, or personal life.
This desire, this drive, this fight to be as great as I can possibly be is the mentality I will put forth into the workplace.
